A service of memory and thanksgiving for the life of Betty Lynch will be held at the Newmarket Baptist Church buildings at 12 Brigthon Street, Flemington from 2.30-4pm this Saturday 21st of September.

Betty passed away in late June and was farewelled in a small family ceremony but many friends from around Australia and the world would like to take the opportunity to celebrate her life in the church and neighbourhood she loved.

Dedicated at Newmarket Baptist in 1920, Betty was a wonderful, adventurous woman and a spiritual mentor too many in the Newmarket and Essendon Baptist communities and beyond.

Opportunity will be given to share stories, symbols and memories and an afternoon tea.

Gifts can be made to the Flemington People’s Pantry, an ongoing charity of the church of which Betty was a keen supporter.
